Brief Description of Resource:  The Choices Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a mobile, community based team of specialists that provide 24-hour assessment and on-site response to support individuals and their families experiencing challenges with opioid overdoses, substance use, and mental health crises. The team consists of a registered nurse, licensed mental health clinicians, and recovery support specialists who are in their own recovery. The team assists clients with connecting to treatment, resources, and recovery. CERT has the ability to stay connected with the family for up to 60 days to ensure the stability of their recovery and resources. CERT serves Decatur, Jefferson, Ripley, Switzerland, Ohio, Dearborn, and Franklin County. Services are currently free of charge.

Brief Description of Resource:  Help stop prescription drug abuse. Drop off your expired, unused or unwanted medications for safe disposal at these locations.  Many medication collection programs have restrictions regarding what can be disposed of. Restrictions may include syringes and sharps, liquids, aerosols, hydrogen peroxide, thermometers and medical waste from business.
